8-week Course
NOTE: JANUARY 2012 the Course plan and the book are under revision. Please excuse inconsistencies. In order to ensure high quality print-outs, the PDF files are quite large. On a slow connection allow more time to download and open each file in ®Adobe Acrobat Reader. If your Internet browser asks you to permit 'Scripts and Active content', click to permit.
Week 3: [booklet pages 18 to 23]
- learn an inflexion pattern in feminine nouns
- extend your vocabulary with feminine nouns
- about the séimhiú and urú in context
- learn one more verse of the poem
Target Sheet 3: FEMININE NOUNS
Learners can use this Target Sheet to record more new nouns and learn that the séimhiú is written after 'an' in the case of feminine nouns. It also shows how certain feminine nouns are changed to express the sense 'of the' e.g. ' the gate of the field'. This feminine inflexion pattern will be consolidated through Circuit Game 3 - next week.
