This Target Sheet is designed to get learners to act out situations and to encourage impromptu conversations. Eg. (i) Pretend you have an apple OR that you are making a sandwich. Then ask a person Ar mhaith leat úll? NÓ Cad ba mhaith leat sa cheapaire? (ii) Pretend you have found someone's coat. Then ask Cé leis an cóta seo? Ní liomsa é etc.(iii) Pretend you are reading / writing / cutting etc. Ask Cad atá agam? This provides practice in the keywords le, ar, do, ag [see Lesson 8 pages 24 - 25]

CIRCUIT GAME "Bratacha": for a class-size group
This game of 24 cards provides learners with practice in the pattern of inflecting feminine nouns eg. "an Iodáil: Tá bratach na hIodáile agam", "an Fhrainc: Tá bratach na Fraince agam." The learner will make the connection with the game and common nouns such as "an pháirc: Bhí geata na páirce dúnta".
